Oh yes, yes it is...

This is my first big technology purchase for 2011, the main use is to take around to client meetings to show them work that we have been doing, also to show them that out technology scales on tablets & phones.

Why didn't I get an iPad I hear you scream? Well I'm not a fan of the restrictions Apple forces on developers, I like the openness of the Android platform and lastly I'm a big fan of the form factor of the Galaxy Tab, it feels like it's the perfect size.

Here's what I like / dislike after 2 days of using the Galaxy Tab:

Galaxy Tab Pros

- 7' Screen is perfect
- Everything is super fast and responsive
- Great battery life
- Great integration with Google services (As expected)
- Books / Newspaper / Magazine Apps are really good

Galaxy Tab Cons

- The Android store is a bloody mess
- 2 Different Email apps is a little confusing, especially since they are basically exactly the same (Gmail and Email)
- Lack of interesting apps in the Android store (People say that there are 200k apps for Android, but it sure doesn't feel promoted that way in the store)

So there you have it, my initial feelings about the Galaxy Tab.
