$250 may just be a little steep though; I've been playing around with the demo and I think it's pretty darn cool, problem tho... I own FL Studio which Fxpansion's Geist feels similar too (functionality wise) so this could be a stupid purchase...
I've always felt limited for some reason working with drums / sampling / slicing in my current DAW of choice Synapse Orion, so a contained environment may be a good workflow enhancement, hmm...
